Many customers of us want to import scaffolding from China, but they do not know the import process due to lack of experience. Below are the common regulations that they need to be followed when importing scaffolding from China.
Ⅰ. Preparation stage

Ⅱ. For-ma-l import process
1.Enter import contract: A for-ma-l import contract with the supplier should cover all key details such as name of goods, quantity, specifications, price, quality standards, delivery time, mode of transport, etc.
2. Apply for Import License: Apply for a scaffolding import license when necessary according to the laws and regulations of the importing country This step can be omitted if there are no special restrictions in the importing country.
3.Prepare import documents:
Certificate of Origin (applicable to countries that have signed free trade agreements with China and enjoy tariff preferences).
CI-commercial invoice.
PL-packing list.
BL-Bill of Lading (sea or air freight).
CO or Fom E.
Other documents required by the importing country, such as quality inspection reports, certificates of origin, etc.
4. Customs Declaration: Submit complete import documents to the customs of the importing country, fill in the cargo information accurately, and make an import declaration.
5. Payment of Taxes: Payment of customs duties, value-added tax, excise duty and other taxes in accordance with the regulations of the importing country.
6. Customs inspection and release: Customs can inspect the quantity, specification, quality, etc. of the goods.
Pick-up Transportation: Arranges for delivery of goods to designated locations to ensure safe arrival.
Ⅲ. Follow-up processing and recording
1. Quality inspection: The scaffolding quality inspection is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the importing country.If the inspection fails, please communicate with the supplier in time to resolve the problem.
2. Archiving and Recording: Properly archive and preserve import declarations and related documents for future reference or review.
