Do:
Keep your wig away from any form of heat. Use low heat to blow dry, straighten and curl your wig.
Store your wig in dry conditions. Humid circumstances such as a bathroom will only shorten your wig’s life.
Comb your wig with wide-toothed comb or hand carefully.
Avoid application of conditioner to the base of the wig as it can loosen the knots on the cap, causing hair loss to your hair piece.
Take your time to remove any tangles and twists by using your fingers, a wig hairbrush or a wide-tooth comb and apply soft pressure only. Start at the ends. Avoid pulling on the fibers.
Leave your wig to dry naturally overnight on your wig stand. Your out-of-the-box style will return each and every time.
Don’t:
Do not wear the same wig every day. If you are a wig wearer on a daily basis, consider purchasing and rotating various wigs.
Do not wash your wig too often. How often you wash your hair will depend on things like air quality and humidity.
Do not brush your wig with a regular comb.
Do not wear your hairpiece while sleeping. It may result in hair loss, breakage and matting.
