Artificial grass construction steps are divided into six steps as follows:
Inspection of foundation and acceptance -- measurement of line setting -- nonwoven fabric and straw roll laying -- location and bonding -- injection of quartz sand and rubber particles -- completion acceptance.
Inspection of foundation
Before installing the artificial turf, check and accept the foundation engineering to ensure that the foundation is clean and free of impurities. If the surface is found to be uneven, it should be repaired and levelled in time. If there are sundries in the foundation, clean the foundation in time to ensure that the cleanliness and flatness of the construction site meet the requirements for lawn laying.
Measuring line setting
According to the requirements of the design drawing, use the measuring tools to accurately measure the site size, and control the error within the allowable range. If the size is not suitable, it should be modified immediately within an error of 5 mm.
Paving
Lay non-woven fabric along the length of the field, and the bond between the non-woven fabric shoud be firm. The arrangement direction should be 90 degrees with the direction of lawn layout. Lay the sod on the ground according to the original factory specifications. Lap between the sod should be 3~8 mm. Cut the lap sod with a lawn cutter and the joints should not be greater than 3mm. Lay the lap cloth under the cutting area, and brush the adhesive on the bonding surface with the glue applicator and knock firmly.
Gluing, bonding, pressurizing, solidification
Glue: Use glue applicator on lawn bottom cloth, strictly control the thickness of glue, and pay attention to the speed of glue should be appropriate. Glue should be applied to the two bonded surfaces respectively. The glue should be brushed even thickly. Do not brush repeatly, otherwise there will be foaming phenomenon.
Adhesive: Do one-time alignment adhesive. Do not move the bonded object. Within 30 minutes after gluing, the gluing pulp can reach 80% dry with non-stick hand touch.
Pressure: Beat the artificial turf from the adhesive point to both sides of the edges with a special rubber hammer, to make its surface fully contact dense, bonding more firmly.
Solidification: The solidy time is generally three days. During the solidy period, you should pay attention to maintenance, avoid exposure, flooding and movement to reach the best state of bonding.
Quartz sand and rubber particles are injected
The height of quartz sand irrigation is within 10 mm of the remaining height of the lawn. The spreading speed should be uniform. When laying, it is necessary to ensure the flatness and control the filling amount of quartz sand. Rubber pellet injection is operated with quartz sand injection.
